This project has all the hallmarks of an ugly duckling and swan fairy tale. Our client had purchased this two storey brick residence on a wedging site. It had three pokey bedrooms, an extremely ugly presentation but had a magnificent views over Coffs Harbour Jetty and Mutton Bird Island.
We pushed the envelope of the planning regulations adding and tweaking. We brought an addition towards the front boundary, ran a dividing wall down the middle of the building and added a complete top storey. We accessed the cars off the rear lane and constructed new garages.
The result created two beautiful contemporary generous three bedroom townhouses, that both have expansive decks and balconies that now address the Solitary Islands Marine Park views.
