A new Library, Gallery and Civic space is proposed for Coffs Harbour's CBD. Oliver from g2 architects has been working for the past 18 months with Coffs Harbour City Council, consultants, and the community, as part of the Project Team to define the brief, assess designs, and facilitate community consultation.

Ann Gee from g2 architects was pleased to be able to contribute her skills to the team of Rotarians, volunteers and professionals involved in the recently completed Castle Street "Changing Place" facility.
The changing places scheme provides essential and specialized amenity for persons with a disability in the community, promoting social equity and benefits for all.
Club 300 Bowling and Bar was one of three Coffs Coast Businesses recognised with Business Awards for outstanding disability inclusion and access as part of recent International Day of People with a Disability celebrations.
Club 300 was commended for its encouragement and support for people with a disability to participate in ten pin bowling.
g2's architectural design for the venue enhanced accessibility for patrons with the inclusion of a lift, ramps, and accessible toilets.
Owner, of Club 300 Bowling and Bar, Trevor Smith, also established a successful bowling event held each Monday for people with a disability.

Atrium Residence, a stunning modular beach-house in Sapphire Beach, represents a collaboration between g2 architects, Natural Habitat Interiors and Design, Garden Expressions, and award winning builder Eric Horspool from EJ & PJ Horspool Builders.

As well as designing houses, Ann and Oliver Gee from g2 architects were busy designing, co-hosting and generally COLLABORATING for the Australian Institute of Architects Country Conference in Coffs Harbour this October.
Held from the 3–6 October, in Sawtell and Coffs Harbour's Pacific Bay Resort, the NSW Country Division Conference was a must attend event for regional architects. This institute event allowed architects to catch up with colleagues and friends from across NSW and beyond, obtain CPD points and join in for a week of lively conversation and fun.
Speakers included Ken Maher, Amy Child, Garry Murray, SueAnne Ware, Andrew Nimmo along with Ann and Oliver Gee discussing their recent Sawtell Cinema heritage renovation.
At g2 architects continuing Professional Development is a large component of our practice. Design often includes collaboration: partnering with contractors, visioning with stakeholders and creating across disciplines. 'Collaborate' Conference 2017 allowed architects from across NSW to hear ten unique perspectives on the process of Collaboration from inside and outside of the profession.
The winners of the 2017 NSW Country Division Awards were announced at a gala dinner held on the Thursday evening.
g2 architects were proud to support Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium's 2017 Gala Concert.
Held in the recently renovated CHRC Performance Space the Gala celebrated the wonderful ensembles, scholarship holders, and students of the Conservatorium in a farewell spectacular honoring Artistic Director Trish O'Brien.
Ann Gee and the g2 architects team are proud proponents of the Arts. Ann's ongoing participation as a CHRC Board Member, and as an architectural consultant, contributed to the relocation of the Conservatorium to its Bray St premises. g2 was also pleased to design the Conservatorium's recently renovated Performance Space. Congratulations to all musicians participating in the Gala, and to the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium on their exciting year of alterations and improvements!

Both Ann and Oliver here at g2, and our clients, were delighted with the effect achieved using the Scyon Linea weatherboard system. We are pleased to see that James Hardie the product professionals approve of the end result too, considering the many beach houses clad with Scyon products around Australia each year.

Dubbing The Dark Arts Coffee Academy as "Coffs Harbour's hidden gem" Russell has put this new commercial premises in g2's recently completed Grafton St laneyway development on the map.
Dark Arts Coffee Academy is one of the commercial tenancies occupying the newly opened Club 300 Arcade- the recently activated laneway connecting Grafton St to Cox Lane and underpinning the newly refurbished Club 300 Bowling and Bar.
An edgy Melbourne-style cafe tucked within this laneway, Dark Arts Coffee Academy is quickly becoming renowned in the local community and beyond for its brewed beverages, creative cuisine, and edgy steampunk aesthetic.
Gaining a mention in the Sydney Morning Herald's 'Domain' Russell's tweet about Dark Arts Coffee Academy has certaining got the local Coffs community and our g2 office frothing with excitement.
With a coffee in one hand and a copy of Wednesday's advocate in the other, the g2 team have taken a moment to celebrate the official launch of the Club 300 Bowl Arcade.
A complex and multifaceted project, Club 300 Bowling and Bar and the associated Arcade has signified a considerable design investment for the g2 architects team. Important for its prominence in the Coffs CBD, its many commercial tenancies, and its activation of pedestrian thoroughfares within the Coffs Harbour CBD Master Plan, this project has undergone several iterations, and required our design team to face and overcome challenges and constraints.
The g2 team is delighted to see this Grafton St project come to fruition. Club 300 Bowling and Bar now provides an exemplary bowling experience, with lift accessibility, synthetic lanes, air-conditioning, bar, catering, and a VIP lounge, making it an ideal venue for professional and recreational bowlers alike.
We wish Club 300 Bowling and Bar and its neighbours, the very best of success following the Arcades' official launch. Ann, Oliver and the g2 team will be sure to drop in for a bowl and a cocktail at Club 300 Bowling and Bar, indulge in a latte and lunch at Dark Arts Coffee Academy, and may potentially finance the outing with a trip to Coffs Harbour Pawn Brokers.
